According the the Head of Canale 5 Giancarlo Scheri, the premiere of Luce dei tuoi occhi was excellent:"Great comeback for the second season of the series on our flagship. A result for which I would like to thank Anna Valle, Giuseppe Zeno and Francesca Cavallin, and Banijay Studios Italy and Mediaset's Fiction Direction, who have created an exciting story for Canale 5 audience."
The premiere achieved 2.7mln viewers (3mln in the prime-time slot) and a 16.5% share, which rises to 18.23% on the active public, also confirmed on the young target audience: 23.42% share on 15-34 year-olds and 25.14% on 15-24 year-olds. Futhermore the series reached peaks of 20% share and 3.5mln viewers.
