Food Network launched a new travelling series The Green Table on  Tuesday  February 21 dedicated to slow-food and virtuous farm in the region of Lombardy (not far from Milan).

The show of six one-hour episodes is produced by Casta Diva for Warner Bros Discovery. The aim is to discover the most virtuous farms in the Lombardy region, to get to know the secrets of the land and the products processed with respect for nature, specialized in the production of seasonal vegetables and cereals, cheese and other products. In each episode Vittorio Vaccaro returns to his home kitchen to prepare dishes based on the harvested products: these include lasagna with black cabbage and pumpkin, chicken thighs in beer, Chinese cabbage rolls,  materials offered by the territory in a simple and direct way.
