MTV presents Don't Leave Me Behind: Stories Of Young Ukrainian Survivors
To mark the first anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, MTV  will premiere on Tuesday, February 28 at 8pm the documentary entitled Don't Leave Me Behind: Stories Of Young Ukrainian Survivors on MTV Channel.

Following the invasion that triggered a mass exodus of 5.15 million Ukrainian civilians fleeing to Poland - half of them teenagers or younger - filmmaker Nathaniel Lezra takes viewers just a few kilometres from the Ukrainian-Polish border, where he recounts the lives of Ukrainian teenage refugees facing the unimaginable trauma of being displaced from their country and separated from their war-fighting fathers back home.

Don't Leave Me Behind: Stories Of Young Ukrainian Survivors shows the story of two teenagers, Oleksandra "Sasha" Kunitska, 18, and Daria "Dasha" Unger, 15, and their new lives as they try to regain normality in Poland - through volunteering, mental health support, family and friendships - while maintaining hope for their families back home, their country and their future.
