The 2026 K-Content Expo Chile will bring together 30 Korean content companies and industry professionals from across Latin America in Santiago from 4 to 7 November, with a programme focused on international distribution, co-production and intellectual property (IP) partnerships. Hosted by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organised by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), the event will take place at Centro Parque, bringing together buyers and industry representatives from Chile, Argentina, Brazil and other Latin American markets. The participating companies will represent three main sectors: games (seven companies), broadcasting (12) and animation and characters (11). Among them are CJ ENM, ELTV, Emotionwave, Pixel Planet and Aurora World, which will showcase their content and IP.
The business programme will include B2B export meetings from 4 to 6 November, with organisers aiming to attract buyers from at least 80 Latin American companies. Expected participants include Chilean terrestrial broadcaster TVN, production company Cooking Media and OTT platform Zapping TV, alongside buyers from Argentina, Brazil and neighbouring markets. Meetings will explore potential partnerships across content sales and distribution, co-production, IP licensing and game publishing.
The programme will also feature seminars on the content market landscape in Chile and Latin America, as well as strategies for entering the region. Dedicated IP showcases will present ELTV’s FoodSong Writer, Pixel Planet’s Gangchi Island, CJ ENM’s The Legend of Kitchen Soldier, NewUnivers’s The Golden Cage, and Emotionwave’s AIMPLE and MUTA, with a focus on identifying collaboration opportunities with local industry players.
A special screening of CJ ENM’s K-drama The Legend of Kitchen Soldier is scheduled for 4 November for local broadcasting professionals and invited buyers. The presentation will feature Spanish dubbing and localised on-screen text, followed by a Q&A session aimed at exploring the series' distribution potential in Latin America.
Beyond the business activities, the expo will open its doors to the general public with exhibitions and interactive experiences showcasing Korean content and lifestyle. Visitors will be able to explore photo installations and merchandise inspired by K-dramas True Beauty and The Legend of Kitchen Soldier, alongside activities featuring participating companies' IP.
The public programme will also include K-beauty product displays and trials, AI-powered personal colour analysis, PHOTOISM photo booths, a K-POP Dance Challenge and live performances.
