Argentina brought more than 140 audiovisual professionals to the sixth edition of Iberseries & Platino Industria, held from September 29 to October 2, 2026, at Matadero Madrid. Through its participation in the International Audiovisual Market (MAI), Iberscreenings, professional meetings and conference sessions, the country promoted its talent and projects while seeking new opportunities for financing, co-production, distribution and international collaboration.
One of the main pillars of Argentina’s participation was the International Audiovisual Market (MAI), where the country presented a dedicated space under the Argentina Audiovisual brand, alongside Córdoba’s Audiovisual Hub. The space served as a meeting point for Argentine professionals and companies, supporting the international visibility of the country’s audiovisual industry.

Three feature films with Argentine participation were selected for the Co-production and Financing Forum: Los inexpertos, from Chile’s Quijote Films and Argentina’s Gentil Cine; Por qué volvías cada verano, from Argentina’s Mostra Cine and CT, alongside Spain’s Atrece Creaciones; and Tres mujeres, from Spain’s Las Hormigas Negras and Damita Joe, Italy’s Ginevra Film, and Argentina’s Sombra Cine. Meanwhile, projects including Blister, Cora, El caracol, La Streamer más buscada and Por qué volvías cada verano were listed among the selections for Thinking Like a Producer: Creative Business Strategy, a workshop led by Leonardo Zimbrón of 3Pas Studios.
