Sphere Abacus has expanded its acquisitions team with the appointment of Niki Page as Acquisitions Manager, a newly created role covering both scripted and unscripted programming. Page will work alongside Global Content Director Will Stapley, bringing nearly three decades of experience across the UK and international media industries as Sphere Abacus continues to expand its premium, multi-genre catalogue. Stapley said: “I'm delighted that Niki has joined us at this exciting time of growth for Sphere Abacus. She brings with her a wealth of experience, knowledge and strong producer relationships that will help us continue to build on the quality and quantity of new unscripted and scripted projects in our catalogue.”

Most recently Commercial SVP at AI-focused production company Deep Fusion, Page has held senior positions at Sky, Fremantle, Channel 4 and Red Arrow (now Seven.One). Her experience spans content distribution, rights acquisition, commercial strategy and deal-making, with a particular focus on working with producers to secure distribution rights and broker first-look and development agreements. Primarily focused on unscripted programming, Page has worked across titles including Jamie Oliver, Don’t Tell the Bride, Chateau DIY, The Wine Show and the podcast Virtually Parkinson. Her scripted credits include Shameless and The Inbetweeners. She has also worked as a consultant for independent production companies, supporting commercial strategy, partnerships and the international development of their content.
