Go Button Media has secured investment from UKTV for a fifth season of its long-running documentary series Secret Nazi Bases. The six-part season will enter production this summer, with delivery scheduled for spring 2027. DCD Rights will continue to handle international distribution outside the UK and Canada.
The series has built a strong global presence over its first four seasons, with sales in more than 120 territories. DCD Rights has already secured several pre-sales for the upcoming season, including deals with broadcasters in New Zealand, Germany, Spain, the Nordics, and Central and Eastern Europe.
Secret Nazi Bases combines history, engineering and investigative storytelling to examine the hidden infrastructure developed by the Nazi regime during World War II. The new season will explore underground tunnel networks, secret factories, ceremonial sites linked to occult practices and unfinished megastructures connected to Adolf Hitler’s ambitions. Using archival footage, CGI and dramatic reconstructions, the series features historians, engineers and World War II experts who investigate the purpose and significance of these sites.
Daniel Oron, Co-Founder and Executive Producer at Go Button Media, said: “Secret Nazi Bases has proven itself to be one of our most successful series, and that’s thanks to the continued support of our incredible partners at UKTV and DCD Rights. We’re looking forward to being back filming in Europe again this summer. Even after four in-depth seasons, we are still uncovering countless new dark stories, remarkable structures and lesser-known histories that will continue to surprise, intrigue and terrify.”
Nicky Davies Williams, CEO at DCD Rights, added: “With the highest production values and compelling storytelling, Secret Nazi Bases continues to intrigue audiences throughout the world. We are very pleased to have a further exceptional season to share with our many international clients.”
