DCD Rights has secured a wide range of unscripted sales across Central and Eastern Europe, with more than 150 hours of factual programming licensed to major broadcasters and channels in the region. The deals, negotiated by Senior Sales Manager James Anderson, span a broad slate of titles across history, true crime, documentary and lifestyle genres.
In Poland, Telewizja Polsat has acquired 38 hours of content including Secret Nazi Bases Series 4 and Nazi War Machines: Secrets Uncovered. Also in the market, WP has picked up Meghan: Building The Brand, Secret Societies: In The Shadows and ...From Hell: Caught On Camera Series 1 & 2.
In Croatia and the Czech and Slovak markets, DOX TV, CS Mystery and CS History have licensed Is Your Smartphone Spying On You?, Bodies In The Barrels, Natural Born Killer? and Deception: World War II.
In Lithuania, LNK has taken 29 hours including Exploring India With Bettany Hughes and Treasures With Bettany Hughes Series 2 and 3, while Ajara TV in Georgia has acquired Treasures With Bettany Hughes Series 1–5.
AMC Global Media Central Europe (covering Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia) has also added cookery titles including Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen Series 3, James Martin’s Spanish Adventure and Nadiya’s Food Adventure.
