At the core of the story are two deeply scarred individuals whose destinies become unexpectedly intertwined. Simone, a former footballer whose career never fully took off, is emerging from a failed marriage and facing an uncertain future. Stella, a rebellious police officer, is trying to rebuild her life after the tragic loss of the man she loved. Their paths cross over a bag full of money. Simone steals it from a crime scene—one that Stella is assigned to investigate. What initially seems like a stroke of luck quickly turns into a death sentence, as the criminals he stole from begin hunting him down, willing to do anything to get it back.Forced to flee, Simone escapes with his ex-wife Alessia and their daughter Giada, embarking on a tense and unpredictable journey along the Calabrian coast, passing through Crotone, Isola Capo Rizzuto, Cutro, Botricello and Lamezia Terme.Simone’s only hope lies with Stella.
