Eccho Rights is reinforcing its presence across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) with a fresh slate of premium Turkish drama sales, highlighting the region’s sustained appetite for high-end scripted content from Turkey.
The latest agreements span multiple key territories and platforms, further cementing Turkish dramas as a cornerstone of CEE programming strategies:
"I Am Mother" (O3 Medya for Show TV) has been acquired by Hungary’s MTVA and Georgia’s IMEDI. The series delivers a powerful emotional narrative about a woman rebuilding her life and reclaiming her identity after a devastating betrayal.
"Golden Boy" (OGM Pictures for Star TV) heads to Slovakia’s Voyo. A major ratings success, the series follows a reckless young heir whose life is turned upside down by an arranged marriage.
"Cennet" (Surec Film for ATV) has been picked up by Ukraine’s Bigudi. This classic melodrama centers on a young woman abandoned at birth who returns to confront the influential family that rejected her.
Berkin Nalbantli, Sales Executive for CEE and Africa at Eccho Rights, said: “These series each tell a very different story, but they share the same emotional core that CEE audiences respond to so strongly — complex characters navigating betrayal, identity and resilience. Themes like these cut across borders, and right now buyers in the region are very clear about what they are looking for. Turkish drama continues to deliver it.”
