Sky Unveils New Slate of Premium Drama and Comedy Acquisitions
Sky has revealed a new lineup of premium drama and comedy acquisitions for Sky and NOW, reinforcing its commitment to diverse, high-quality international storytelling. The slate includes the return of global hits and the debut of highly anticipated thrillers and comedies featuring world-class talent.

The announcement is highlighted by the second season of the hit series "Heated Rivalry", set to arrive in 2027. Additionally, Sky has acquired the mystery thriller "YAGA", starring Carrie-Anne Moss and Hudson Williams, and the A24 crime drama "Superfakes", executive produced by and starring Lucy Liu. The slate also features the horror-comedy "The ‘Burbs", starring Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall, and the espionage thriller "PONIES", led by Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson.

Katie Keenan, Group Director of Acquisitions for Sky UK and Europe, stated: “We’re proud to unveil this slate of new premium dramas, each offering bold, distinctive and world-class storytelling for our customers. The return of global hit 'Heated Rivalry' to Sky and NOW in the UK and Ireland will be a must-watch next year, and we cannot wait for audiences to see 'YAGA', 'Superfakes', 'The ‘Burbs' and 'PONIES' – all joining an already stellar line-up of unmissable TV.”

The new titles join an expansive 2026 portfolio that includes "Euphoria" S3, "House of the Dragon" S3, and "The Miniature Wife."
