Talpa Studios has named Marloes Sturkenboom as Managing Director of Global IP, Strategy and Operations, effective April 1, 2026. This appointment is part of a broader effort to strengthen the company’s leadership structure and accelerate the international expansion of its non-scripted formats.
Sturkenboom joins the company with over 15 years of experience in content acquisition and business affairs, having most recently served as Head of Content Acquisitions at RTL Nederland. In her new role, she will work alongside the global distribution team, led by Sebastian van Barneveld, to deepen strategic partnerships and scale Talpa Studios’ IP across international markets.
The executive will focus on connecting IP development with global dealmaking, driving the continued rollout of successful titles. Talpa Studios’ current portfolio includes global hits such as "The Floor", which has been sold in more than 30 territories, as well as "The Quiz With Balls" and partnership-based formats like "Trivial Pursuit" and "99 to Beat."
