Banijay and All3Media Merger Creates One of the World’s Largest TV Production Groups
Banijay Group and RedBird IMI have announced a strategic partnership to combine Banijay Entertainment (including Banijay Live) with All3Media, creating a new global media and entertainment company that will operate under the Banijay name. The new entity will be jointly owned by Banijay Group and RedBird IMI, each holding a 50% stake.

Marco Bassetti, currently CEO of Banijay Entertainment, will lead the new group as CEO, while Jane Turton, CEO of All3Media, will become Deputy CEO. Jeff Zucker, CEO of RedBird IMI, will serve as Chairman of the Board.

The combined company will bring together a portfolio of major international IP, including The Traitors, Big Brother, Survivor, Peaky Blinders, Gogglebox and The Assassin, alongside theatre productions such as The Lehman Trilogy. The group will control a catalogue of more than 260,000 hours of content and produce around 20,000 hours annually, across 170 creative labels in 25 countries, with distribution in nearly 250 territories worldwide.

Strategically, the merger aims to strengthen the company’s global scale, expand IP ownership and deepen relationships with streaming platforms. Thanks to All3Media’s strong presence in English-speaking markets — particularly the UK and the US — the new Banijay will become the largest English-language studio outside the United States.

The integration of Little Dot Studios with Banijay Rights is expected to accelerate digital monetisation across social media, FAST channels and OTT platforms, while Banijay will also expand the exploitation of its IP through live and immersive experiences.

On a pro forma basis, the combined entity would have generated more than €4.4 billion in revenue and €690 million in adjusted EBITDA in 2024. The transaction is expected to deliver around €50 million in cost synergies within 12 months after completion, with closing anticipated in autumn 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.

The deal marks another step in the ongoing consolidation of the global content production industry, strengthening Banijay’s position as one of the leading international players in the creation and exploitation of entertainment IP.
