As part of the changes, Richard Cowles has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, with Tom Gould named Chief Content Officer. Jeanette Moffat becomes Director of Production, while Mike Spencer-Hayter and Diego Rincón take on roles as Directors of Unscripted. Kat Hebden has been appointed Director of Development and New Business, and Micky Van Praagh becomes Director of On-Screen Talent. Ros Coward joins as Creative Director following recent collaborations with the company, alongside Chantal Boyle, who arrives from her role as Commissioning Editor for Entertainment at the BBC.
The expanded leadership structure is designed to increase capacity across the business, supporting Lifted’s continued growth while maintaining creative ambition and operational scale.
Richard Cowles, Chief Executive Officer, said: “Lifted has grown significantly in recent years in the scale of our slate, the ambition of our ideas and the complexity of what we deliver. This evolution in our structure is about making sure we are set up sustainably for the long term, with the right clarity, leadership and collaboration across the entire business. It strengthens the way our teams work together, protects the shows we make, and gives us the capacity to keep creating bold, original formats for a wide and growing range of partners.”
Lifted Entertainment’s current slate includes flagship entertainment brands such as "Love Island", "Love Island All Stars", "I’m a Celebrity…, The Voice", "University Challenge" and "Countdown". Upcoming 2026 titles include "Celebrity Sabotage", "The Neighbourhood"—a co-production with The Garden—and "Nobody’s Fool", produced with U.S.-based company Nobody’s Hero.
The leadership expansion forms part of ITV Studios’ continued investment in its unscripted portfolio, positioning Lifted Entertainment for further growth in original IP and large-scale entertainment production.
