Announced from NATPE Global in Miami, the agreement will see Love Nature debut on CANAL+ over the next three months, starting this month in France, Africa and several French overseas territories. The launch includes a dedicated linear French-language Pay TV channel, alongside a Love Nature VOD hub featuring 150 hours of regularly refreshed content.
“CANAL+ is a prestigious partner and signals the appeal that Love Nature’s award-winning wildlife series and documentaries offer in today’s competitive TV market,” said Carlyn Staudt, President, Global Channels & Streaming, Blue Ant Media. “This landmark agreement represents a major strategic milestone for Love Nature and completes the company’s partnership with CANAL+ across all CANAL+ EMEA markets, with Love Nature now available across the group’s full regional footprint.”
The deal further expands Blue Ant Media’s long-standing partnership with CANAL+ and significantly strengthens Love Nature’s presence in one of Europe’s most influential pay TV markets. Programming highlights at launch include "Big Cat Country" (6 x 60’), following the dramatic rivalry between three lion prides in Zambia’s Luangwa Valley; "Malawi Wildlife Rescue" (6 x 60’), a docu-series centered on a veterinary team working at the country’s only wildlife rescue center; and Seasons 1 and 2 of "Wildlife Icons" (14 x 60’), showcasing some of Africa’s most distinctive animal species.
