As the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games approach, the animated series "The GoGoPig", from Italian studio Maga Animation, returns to YouTube with a special mission: to celebrate the Olympic spirit and introduce winter sports to children through fun and engaging characters.
Created by Massimo Carrier Ragazzi and Giulio Braga, the series has won several international awards and was selected for its debut at the prestigious Annecy Festival. For Cortina 2026, "The GoGoPig" comes back with a refreshed design while keeping its original charm.
The show follows a spirited pig who loves sports and his quirky coach, a green cat. With imaginative strategies, snacks as incentives, and bold daydreams, Mr. Cat encourages GoGoPig to explore every sport, turning each episode into a mix of hilarious challenges, ambitious goals, and surprising victories.
“With 'The GoGoPig', we want to offer children not only the joy of animation but also values that guide them
as they grow. The Olympics are a moment of cultural exchange, an opportunity to share experiences and
discover the beauty of diversity. Sport teaches us to commit with curiosity and determination, to see every
challenge as an opportunity. Success is not defined by victory, but by the ability to give your best and improve
day by day,” says Massimo Carrier Ragazzi, CEO of Maga Animation Studio
