Thursday 6 November
Rai 1 concluded Noi del Rione Sanità (Tr. We’re from Sanità) with 2.7 million viewers and a 17.8% share, nearly matching its debut episode. The six-part drama, produced by Rai Fiction and Mad Entertainment, follows the transformation of a run-down Neapolitan neighbourhood thanks to the vision and leadership of a local priest.

Monday 10 November
Rai 1 launched the third season of Il Commissario Ricciardi (Tr. Commissioner Ricciardi), based on Maurizio De Giovanni’s novels and produced by Clemart and Rai Fiction. The premiere drew 3.56 million viewers and a 21.2% share. The 1930s-set crime series continues to captivate audiences with the protagonist’s unique ability to perceive the final thoughts of murder victims.

Wednesday 12 November
Netflix premiered Mrs Playmen, a seven-part limited series produced by Aurora TV (Banijay). The drama recounts the life and legacy of Adelina Tattilo, the groundbreaking editor behind the women’s erotic magazine Playmen, emblematic of Italy’s cultural and sexual revolution in the 1970s.

Friday 14 November
Sky Studios and Palomar (Mediawan) returned with the third season of Call My Agent – Italia, the local adaptation of the acclaimed French format Dix pour cent. The series maintains its satirical, behind-the-scenes exploration of Italy’s entertainment industry, confirming Sky’s commitment to high-end comedic storytelling.

Thursday 20 November
Rai 1 relaunched Un Professore for its third season. Produced by Banijay Studios Italia and distributed by Mediawan, the Italian adaptation of Merlì opened with 3.6 million viewers and a 20.2% share, placing second to a special edition of Wheel of Fortune on Canale 5.

Monday 24 November
TV8 revived Love Bugs, the iconic sitcom that originally aired between 2004 and 2007. Now airing weekdays at 19:30, the reboot explores modern relationships with a humorous twist. Produced by Blu Yazmine and distributed by Avanti Groupe, Love Bugs remains the most adapted scripted format worldwide, with 39 international versions.

Sunday 30 November
Rai 1 premiered Carosello in Love, a romantic period feature set in 1957 that celebrates Italy’s historic advertising programme Carosello. Produced by Grøenlandia in collaboration with Rai Fiction, the project leverages nostalgia and cultural memory as a storytelling hook.

November also brought strategic announcements shaping future schedules:

• Sky confirmed a January premiere for Gomorra – Le origini (Tr. Gomorrah – Origins), a prequel to its globally renowned crime franchise. Produced by Sky Studios and Cattleya (ITV Studios), the series traces the criminal rise of a young Pietro Savastano in 1970s Naples.
• Sky Studios and Fabula Pictures willp resent the legal drama Avvocato Ligas (Tr. Ligas) on March 2026, based on Gianluca Ferraris’ novel. The protagonist, Lorenzo Ligas, is a brilliant yet unscrupulous lawyer fighting to reclaim his status in Milan’s elite legal world.
• Rai 1 has set 1 December as the launch date for Sandokan, the first new television adaptation of Emilio Salgari’s legendary pirate epic since 1976. Produced by Lux Vide (Fremantle) and Rai Fiction, the series stands as Rai’s flagship scripted release.
