Following the success of the previous series, Rabbit Films and Elisa Viihde launch All the Best Girls, a new crime-driven mystery drama series, premiering 1st December 2025 in Finland. The series is commissioned by Elisa and produced by Rabbit Films in co-production FIFF and Aurora Studios.
The premiere week of All the Best Girls concludes with a special international showcase, as Rabbit Films and Elisa host the world premiere of the first episode at Content London. Buyers, commissioners, and industry delegates will get an early look at the new mystery drama, followed by a Q&A session with series director Saara Saarela and Rabbit Films Head of Drama Minna Haapkylä.
Set in the late 1980s, 16-year-old Lola moves to Helsinki’s Munkkivuori after escaping her uncle. Poor and magnetic, she quickly disrupts local teen cliques and befriends Nina, who takes her in. Their summer is filled with parties and dreams of a trip, but Lola hides a secret job. Tensions rise when she comes between Nina and her boyfriend Pete, and Lola mysteriously disappears. Initially thought to have run away with a band, her abandoned belongings in the forest hint at something far darker.
All the Best Girls unfolds across two timelines: the summer of Lola’s arrival and the following autumn after her disappearance. Past and present echo and reveal each other, building suspense and keeping viewers hooked with unanswered questions and shocking twists.
Rabbit Films CEO and Executive Producer of the series Olli Suominen say, “All the Best Girls is a captivating drama-crime-mystery told from the perspective of teenagers, balancing the lightness of summer with the darkness beneath the surface. Its nostalgic 1980s setting, fractured friendships, and dual-timeline storytelling create an intimate yet suspenseful world. We are proud of the series and, with our partners at Elisa, excited to share the first episode at Content London.”
“All the Best Girls reflects our ambition to tell bold and distinctive stories. We are proud to introduce the series to the global industry at Content London together with our partner Rabbit Films”, says Ani Korpela, Chief Content Officer at Elisa.”
