Following a successful MIPCOM, Autentic Distribution has announced a raft of new international deals, highlighting the continued global demand for long-running factual series.
Canal+ Poland has signed a major package deal totaling 60 hours of content, featuring some of Autentic’s most popular factual entertainment series. The deal includes the first season of "Morlock Motors" (10×1,5 hours), the hit series following boss Michael Manousakis and his crew as they buy, restore, and sell extraordinary vehicles, machines, and military equipment sourced from around the world. The package also features all six seasons of "Metal Detective" (30×1 hour), an adrenaline-fueled adventure series that uncovers relics and forgotten stories from historic battlefields of the First and Second World War, and all three seasons of "The Magical World of Spices" (12x1 hour), which explores the origins and cultural significance of spices from across the globe.
In another key deal, SBS Australia has picked up "Secrets of Ancient Structures" (6×1 hour), produced by Go Button Media for Autentic. The series explores how ancient civilizations constructed some of the world’s most awe-inspiring monuments, from the pyramids of the Maya and the Colosseum of Rome to a fortress perched atop a volcanic peak in Sri Lanka. Combining archaeological discoveries with cutting-edge technology, the series reveals the genius and enduring mysteries behind humanity’s greatest architectural achievements.
In addition, Autentic has finalized new sales for its successful adventure series "Hot Roads – The World’s Most Dangerous Roads" (22×1 hour). Italy’s Mediaset, Swiss SRF, Canal+ in Poland, and Slovakian STVR have all acquired the latest season. The series captures some of the world’s most breathtaking and perilous routes, where only the toughest vehicles and drivers can prevail.
