This new digital-first talent format that begins with a Europe-wide social media scout inviting Gen Z and young adult K-pop fans to compete. User-generated content, sponsor integration, and real-time engagement will shape the series, leading to a final stage in Korea where selected contestants train at a professional K-pop academy before a live performance finale.
Pig & Horse has partnered with distribution strategist Beatrice Rossmanith’s Mothership to lead global sales and digital strategy, leveraging her experience with NBCU-owned AwesomenessTV, Red Bull Media House, and Magnify Media. The series will also be co-developed with Anssi Rimpelä, founder of UpToLevel Media and producer of Popstars, Idols, Got Talent, and The X Factor. Talks with leading music labels are ongoing.
Alongside Europe’s K-Pop Odyssey, Pig & Horse is expanding its non-scripted slate with socially impactful projects, including the high-end documentary Reflections of Gaugin (80’), now in production.
