TVF International Secures Multiple Factual Deals Across Australia and New Zealand
The independent factual distributor TVF International has unveiled a significant series of licensing agreements with broadcast partners in Australia and New Zealand, timed with the company's attendance at the AIDC in Melbourne this week.

In Australia, the public broadcaster SBS has acquired a diverse range of programming. This includes the second season of the Emmy-winning docuseries "The Future with Hannah Fry" (6x30), produced by Bloomberg, and the Double-Band Films production "Edward vs George: The Windsors at War" (2x47). Additionally, SBS Viceland will broadcast "The Ozempic Effect" (1x54) from Paul Kemp Productions, while the main network also picked up "Nazi Space Race" (1x47) and the Nordic co-production "Untold Arctic Wars: The Cold War" (6x60).

For its culinary offering, SBS Food has licensed the series "Not Your Butter Chicken" (4x26) and the BBC-commissioned "Chris Cooks Cymru" (6x30). Meanwhile, the NITV Channel secured the rights to "Free At Last: The Secrets of Apartheid" (3x52) and the second installment of "Ocean Warriors: Mission Ready" (13x26).

In New Zealand, TVF International finalized a package deal with Britbox and the BBC’s Pay TV channels, featuring the regional premiere of "Saving Britain's Country Houses with Penelope Keith" (10x60). Furthermore, Sky Arts New Zealand has added several titles to its lineup, including "Golden Opulence: The Legacy of Luxury in Anatolia" (1x50), "Van Gogh by Vincent" (1x46), and the AI-focused documentary "Copy+Paste+Steal" (1x47). The broadcaster also licensed the feature-length "Maria Callas: The Unsung Years" (1x104) and "Ulysses: From Myth to Science" (1x60).
