The Arena of Casa del Cinema in Rome hosted the fourth edition of the Atena Nike Film Awards, the event dedicated to celebrating the excellence of Italian cinema and its protagonists. The evening, presented by actress Antonella Salvucci, featured live music by Barbara Eramo and awards designed by artist Massimo Sirelli.
Among the winners of this edition:Francesca Comencini was awarded Best Director for Il tempo che ci vuole, while Tommaso Ragno and Martina Scrinzi triumphed as Best Actor and Best Actress for their performances in Vermiglio by Maura Delpero. The Best Screenplay award went to Margherita Vicario and Anita Rivaroli for Gloria!.
Laura Luchetti received the Special Atena Nike Award for La bella estate, while I Bambini di Gaza by Loris Lai was named Best First Feature. Costanza Quatriglio was honoured with the Special Award “Impresa Donna” for the documentary Il Cassetto Segreto.
A special recognition for Sicilian talent was given to actress Tania Bambaci for her role as Rosa Balistreri’s daughter in L’amore che ho by Paolo Licata. The Best Soundtrack award was assigned to Carmen Consoli for the same film, while Christian Marazziti and Gabriele Iacovone received a special mention for their short film.
The Awards are supported by an artistic direction led by Fabio Saccuzzo, Giampietro Preziosa, and international correspondent Alina Trabattoni, with the Academy chaired by Lucia Sardo and joined by Claudia Gerini, Federica Luna Vincenti, and the duo Colapesce Dimartino.
Conceived to spotlight socially engaged cinema and emerging talents, the Atena Nike Awards continue to reaffirm the value of Italian creativity and storytelling on the global stage — a symbolic act of cultural rebirth, just like the winged goddess it is named after.
