UK distributor The Media Pioneers (TMP) has acquired global distribution rights (excluding Singapore, Greater China, and Korea) for the action-packed anime Codename X (26 x 13’). The series has already been sold to broadcasters and streaming platforms, including Junior Channel (Israel), MBC (MENA), Lingopie (Europe), and Ceska Televise (Czech Republic).
Produced by South Korea’s SIDE9 studio, Codename X features a blend of action, fantasy, and adventure. The story follows Blue, a boy who time travels to the past, discovering his mother Violet was once a top spy. Together, they embark on thrilling missions with M.S.G. in an attempt to change their future.
Maggie Liang, Managing Director of TMP, called Codename X “the perfect fit for kids and tweens,” and expects it to captivate young viewers globally.
