BBC Studios Drama Productions announced two new TalentWorks initiatives
BBC Studios Drama Productions, UK's leading drama hub outside London, unveils two new TalentWorks programs for writers and directors on the acclaimed BBC medical series Casualty.
The Casualty Directors’ Scheme will train eight established directors through bootcamp weekends in Cardiff, with up to four selected to direct episodes mentored by seasoned directors.
The Writers’ Studio: Casualty invites screenwriters to submit scripts, with ten selected to write shadow scripts and up to four commissioned to pen full episodes.
These initiatives are part of BBC Studios' commitment to nurturing talent and enhancing the UK drama industry. Kris Green, Training Executive, will oversee the programs in partnership with BBC Public Service.
Casualty, a multi-award-winning series, is filmed at BBC Roath Lock Studios in Cardiff and airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
