Conecta DIGITAL Returns to Madrid

Conecta DIGITAL Returns to Madrid
After a dynamic first phase in Cuenca last June, Conecta DIGITAL is preparing for its return to Madrid this fall, continuing its mission to bridge the audiovisual industry with the growing creator economy. The event, which forms part of the broader Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT framework, is quickly becoming one of the most vital meeting points for innovation, entrepreneurship, and storytelling in the Spanish-speaking media landscape.

This year, Conecta DIGITAL 2025 unfolds across several stages, embracing a hybrid format. Following the Cuenca kick-off (June 16–19), the program now moves into its digital phase in October, with online workshops and keynotes designed to reach a wider community of creators and startups. It will then culminate in an in-person event on November 18 and 19 at the Meeting Place in central Madrid—bringing together a vibrant mix of talent, tech, and investors under one roof.
One of the key pillars of this year’s edition is the open call for Startups and Young Creators, a return of two of the most successful initiatives from the previous edition:
Pitch Startups, which invites tech-driven companies working within the audiovisual or digital content space to present their business ideas.
Pitch Young Minds, tailored to students, emerging creators, and young entrepreneurs eager to showcase innovative proposals blending content, technology, and storytelling.
Both calls are open until October 6, with selected finalists receiving the opportunity to pitch their projects live in Madrid this November. Beyond the pitch stage, winners can access mentorship, consultancy, investment, and acceleration programs—a significant opportunity for early-stage creatives and companies to grow within the ecosystem.

The event also fosters hands-on learning, with sessions focused on practical tools for digital growth: monetization models, creator-first strategies, and scalable tech for storytelling. It’s a space where creators can learn how to make content not just artistically engaging, but also economically sustainable.
Conecta DIGITAL is backed by the Spanish Ministry of Culture and supported through Next Generation EU funds, reflecting a broader institutional commitment to nurturing digital transformation in the creative industries. With Madrid as its final stop, the program aims to consolidate its role as a reference point for professionals building the future of media—from producers and platform managers to tech founders and digital creators.
