In addition to Sundance Now, who hold exclusive rights in the U.S. and Canada, All3Media International has secured deals across Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.

In Germany MagentaTV has acquired the seven-part drama which will launch on the platform this month. Virgin Media Television in Ireland, VRT in Belgium, Cosmote TV in Greece and for POLAR+, CANAL+ Group’s thriller channel will air the series in France. A further deal is in the pipeline with a major streaming service that will cover multiple European territories.

Additionally, Prime Video has acquired rights to the seven-part series in a pan territory deal for Africa. Australian streamer Stan has acquired the series and NHK Enterprises Inc. has taken the series for Mystery Channel, one of the PAY TV channels owned by AXN Co., Ltd. in Japan.

The definitive depiction of the desperate five-year hunt for serial killer Peter Sutcliffe, sensitively focusing on the lives of the victims who crossed his path and those of the officers at the heart of the police investigation. Produced by the award-winning team at New Pictures behind Des and White House Farm, the seven-part series is solely written by award-winning screenwriter, George Kay (Hijack, Criminal: UK) and solely directed by BAFTA-winning director Lewis Arnold (Sherwood, Time, Des). The series premiered to critical acclaim and ratings winning success on ITV1 and ITVX last month.
