Inter Medya’s globally distributed drama series Halef, produced by Most Production and broadcast locally on NOW in Türkiye, has been licensed to Disney+ MENA as the platform’s first-ever Turkish title. The announcement was made during an exclusive launch event in Riyadh, held to celebrate the upcoming rollout of Disney+ MENA’s new and upgraded streaming app across the Middle East and North Africa on October 6, 2026.
Halef stars İlhan Şen and Biran Damla Yılmaz, who attended the Riyadh event alongside the series’ creator and producer Gül Oğuz. Inter Medya executives were also present to mark the partnership. Şen and Yılmaz took to the stage during the event to officially announce Halef’s upcoming debut on Disney+ MENA. The actors later joined an exclusive press conference, where they answered questions from regional and international journalists.
Gül Oğuz, creator and producer of the series, also attended the event, which brought together network and platform executives and invited guests to celebrate the launch of the upgraded Disney+ service in the region. The cast’s visit to Riyadh and their appearances at the event also generated strong attention on X, with posts receiving millions of views in a short period of time. The actors were met with enthusiasm from Saudi fans during their visit.
Produced by Most Production, broadcast locally on NOW and distributed internationally by Inter Medya, Halef will debut on Disney+ MENA as the platform’s first Turkish title when the enhanced streaming service launches on October 6, 2026.
