Banijay Entertainment Chairman Jeff Zucker and Marco Bassetti, CEO of Banijay Entertainment and Banijay Live, will headline a keynote conversation at MIPCOM Cannes 2026 on Monday, October 12. The session will mark the first time the two executives appear on stage together following the merger, offering the international television industry a closer look at the strategy and ambitions of the newly combined Banijay Entertainment.

Now positioned as the world’s largest independent studio, the group brings together a vast portfolio of talent and global franchises alongside expanded activities across digital, live entertainment and sport.
Against a backdrop of increasing industry consolidation, tighter commissioning budgets and continued disruption across platforms, Zucker and Bassetti will discuss how Banijay plans to leverage its international footprint, entrepreneurial structure and investment in creative development to support its next phase of growth.
The keynote is expected to address some of the key issues currently reshaping the global content business, from evolving models of content creation and distribution to investment strategies, international expansion and the role of independent studios in an increasingly consolidated marketplace.
