Iberseries & Platino Industria has announced a new slate of conference sessions for its 2026 edition, adding discussions on intellectual property, literary adaptations, audiovisual financing, microdramas, co-production, market intelligence and gender equality. Among the highlights is The Strategic Triangle of Literary Adaptations: Intellectual Property, Platforms and Studios, which will examine the growing demand for adaptable stories and the collaboration between publishers, studios and streaming platforms. Speakers include executives from WEBTOON Productions, HBO Max and Telemundo Studios.
Financing will be addressed in Financial Structuring: The New Investment Landscape in Spain, where experts from Elipsis Capital, Arcano Asset & Capital Finance and Filmika Audiovisual will discuss private investment, specialised funds and tax incentives for audiovisual productions.

The rise of short-form storytelling will be explored in Vertical & Viral: The Rise of Microdramas, featuring executives from DramaBox, My Drama by Holywater Tech, SPi and Secuoya Content Group, who will analyse monetisation opportunities and the impact of vertical dramas on the industry.
Another panel, The Nostalgia Empire: Was the Past Really Better?, will focus on the growing value of classic content, franchises and reboots, with executives from AMC Global Media, RCN Televisión and BBC Studios discussing how legacy IP continues to attract audiences.

The programme will also include a session organised by Platino Educa (EGEDA) and the Nebrija Chair (CIMUED) presenting new research on women's participation in Colombia's audiovisual industry.
Market intelligence will be another key focus, with GECA presenting a session on co-production opportunities between Ibero-America and Europe, JustWatch exploring data-driven marketing strategies, and Parrot Analytics analysing the content trends, genres and markets with the greatest international growth potential.

The sixth edition of Iberseries & Platino Industria will take place from 29 September to 2 October 2026 at Matadero Madrid, bringing together leading executives to discuss the business models and trends shaping the future of the audiovisual industry.
