TV8 is set to premiere on June 16, a new original comedy series titled In & Out, featuring nine millennial stand-up stars, produced by Stand by me.
The program (7 episodes) brings together, for the first time, some of the most well-known and acclaimed comedians of the new Italian generation: Martina Catuzzi, Francesco De Carlo, Edoardo Ferrario, Monir Ghassem, Michela Giraud, Valerio Lundini, Stefano Rapone, Saverio Raimondo, and Daniele Tinti.
The nine comedians will alternate on stage, performing monologues, ensemble pieces, and pre-recorded sketches, balancing “in-stage” and “out-stage” segments—as the title suggests—alongside appearances by special guests. The twist? There is no host. The format instead focuses on the dynamic collaboration between the talents themselves. The show is filmed in a theatre with a live audience, which in some moments becomes an integral part of the performance.
This marks the first time such a large group of millennial comedians with significant followings has been brought together for a primetime show on mainstream Italian television. TV8, known for having one of the youngest audiences among Italian networks, is aligning with the national trend of spotlighting fresh comedic talent on screen—following the success of LOL: Chi ride è fuori (Prime Video), the popular Japanese format now in its fifth Italian season.

Many of the performers are long-time collaborators with the Rome-based production company and were previously featured in the 2019 ensemble show Battute?, which aired in late-night on Rai 2, Italy’s public broadcaster—a program that played a key role in introducing them to a broader audience.
