Israeli actor and TV host Yaron Brovinsky officially presented Dori Media’s brand-new game show The Auction during a live experience event at the Paris Unscripted Showcase on Tuesday, April 29. The event offered industry guests the chance to step into the contestants’ shoes and experience firsthand the thrilling mechanics of the show.

The Auction is an original unscripted format developed by Abot Hameiri and Dori Media, in collaboration with América Televisión (Peru), Kapow (Argentina), and Open Kimono. Produced locally in Peru by América Estudios, the show is set to make its global debut mid-year on América Televisión, the nation’s leading network. Dori Media will manage worldwide distribution.

In a vibrant auction-style setting, The Auction pits two teams of five family members against each other, each armed with an equal budget. Their goal? Acquire mystery prizes of the highest value using strategy, deduction, and instinct. Each envelope up for bid could contain a life-changing reward—or virtually nothing—making every decision a suspenseful gamble.

This launch adds to a strong slate of unscripted titles from Dori Media. Earlier this year, the company announced continued global success for Power Couple, another format created by Abot Hameiri. The relationship competition series has now aired in over 20 countries, with more than 60 seasons and 1,000 episodes produced globally.
