Canale 5 new series I Fratelli Corsaro made a strong debut on Wednesday, September 11, airing during prime time. The first episode drew in 2.5 million viewers, achieving a 16.57% audience share, a promising start for the show.
The story is based on the novels of journalist Salvo Toscana and follows the lives of two brothers, Fabrizio (played by Giuseppe Fiorello) and Roberto (played by Paolo Briguglia). Despite their stark differences—Fabrizio is a journalist and Roberto is a lawyer—the two are deeply united by their love for their mother and their family. Together, they navigate and solve complex murder and crime cases in Palermo.
The four-episode series is produced by CamFilm, directed by Francesco Miccicchè, and written by a talented team including Salvatore De Mola, Giuseppe Fiorello, and Pier Paolo Piciarelli.
