FlareFlow, COL Group’s premium mobile-first vertical entertainment platform, is expanding its Korean content strategy with the launch of Raising His Mistress's Child, a local adaptation of one of the world’s most successful microdrama titles, starring Korean actress Han Chae Young. Known for her roles in Boys Over Flowers and Autumn in My Heart, Han Chae Young leads the Korean remake of the global microdrama hit, which generated more than US$15 million in revenue, attracted over 4.85 million viewers and recorded more than 513,700 completed viewers on its original platform release.
Premiering on FlareFlow on July 10, the Korean adaptation has already surpassed 10 million cumulative views, achieving strong audience engagement with an 84.43% first episode retention rate and a 67.60% second episode retention rate.

Raising His Mistress's Child follows a woman whose life changes dramatically after a traumatic childbirth when she discovers that the baby she is raising is not her own. Betrayed by her husband and his mistress, she begins a journey of revenge, justice and redemption.
The success of the Korean adaptation highlights the continued transformation of the microdrama sector across Asia, where vertical storytelling is increasingly attracting established television talent, larger production investments and internationally successful intellectual property.
