First Look at Season 2 of Recipes for Love and Murder
The highly anticipated second season of Recipes for Love and Murder is on the boil – and the first select images from the production have been released.

When a massive fire engulfs the small town of Eden, a fateful chain of events is triggered and Tannie Maria, Jessie and Khaya get dragged into a multiple murder investigation that unearths the town’s darkest secrets.

Joining the returning leads Maria Doyle Kennedy (Tannie Maria), Tony Kgoroge (Detective Khaya Meyer), and Kylie Fisher (Jessie September) in season two are Wynand Ferreira (Moffie, Mooiweer en Warm, Wyfie), who portrays Jaco, Regardt’s intense younger brother; Gerard Rudolph (Donkerland, Devils Peak) as Ricus, a trained psychologist turned mechanic; and Hlubi Mboya (Blood Psalms, I Am All Girls) as Jackie Baloyi, the new undertaker following the passing of Hattie’s husband.

The first season of Recipes for Love and Murder was chosen for the Berlinale Market & Co-Production series selections at the Berlin Film Festival and nominated at the Venice Television Awards, the South African Film and Television Awards and the South African Writers Guild Awards. The series is based on the acclaimed series of Tannie Maria Mystery novels by best-selling South African author Sally Andrew.
