Netflix Unveils New UK Slate at Edinburgh TV Festival: Highlights Include Victoria Beckham and Take That Docuseries
Netflix has announced a lineup of upcoming content at the Edinburgh TV Festival, featuring new docuseries on Victoria Beckham and the British boy band Take That.

One of the newly commissioned projects focuses on Beckham, formerly known as Posh Spice from the Spice Girls and the wife of former soccer star David Beckham. The series will offer an exclusive behind-the-scenes view of her fashion and beauty ventures. Award-nominated producers Nicola Howson and Julia Nottingham are involved in this project, produced by Studio 99 and Dorothy St Pictures.

Another highlight is a documentary on Take That, one of the UK’s most popular boy bands, with members Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen, Jason Orange, and Robbie Williams all participating. Directed by David Soutar and produced by Fulwell 73, this show promises to delve into the band's story. Additionally, details have been shared about a documentary following the multi-Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay over nine months as he prepares for his most ambitious restaurant launch yet, while also juggling family life with his wife, Tana, and their six children. This series will be produced by Studio Ramsay Global, a subsidiary of Fox Entertainment.

Netflix announced the documentary about 7/7, the bombing attack in London that killed 52 people in July of 2005 from The Garden, part of ITV Studios and another on top sports promoters across various sports titled Matchroom: The Greatest Showmen (produced by Box to Box).

It also revealed a new scripted series, Legends, by BAFTA-winning writer Neil Forsyth, and an adaptation of How to Kill Your Family starring Anya Taylor-Joy. Additionally, Netflix confirmed renewals for the spy thriller Black Doves and a second season of Love Is Blind: UK.
