The Motley Cops of ‘Marry My Dead Body’ Return in Spin-Off ‘GG Precinct’ on August 22
Following the success of Marry My Dead Body, Taiwan’s hit film of 2023, the beloved police squad returns in the spin-off series GG Precinct

Directed by renowned creators Cheng Wei-hao (Marry My Dead Body) and Yin Chen-hao (Man in Love), the series premieres on August 22 and offers six episodes blending irreverent humor with suspenseful murder mystery. Audiences get to see the fully assembled, utterly unreliable and comically inept police squad, which includes the original casts Hsu Kuang-han, Gingle Wang, Ma Nien-hsien and Flower Chen, with three new cast additions — Ng Ki-pin, Huang Lu Zi Yin and Lin He-xuan — to the crime comedy series.

The eccentric squad members join forces in an attempt to solve a series of bizarre murders linked to Chinese idioms, establishing the premise that those who misuse an idiom may become victims. “Each idiom-inspired murder case is thoughtfully crafted by the creators, and we hope that this format of storytelling will be able to draw more people into the series,” shares executive producer Jin Pai-lunn. Director Yin Chen-hao adds, "GG Precinct creatively blends comedic and crime elements. By portraying absurd cases rooted in Chinese idioms, we hope to inspire a greater appreciation for language through comedy.”
