Canale 5 to premiere two new series
Mediaset is launching two new drama series in prime time: Vanina Guarrasi and Se potessi dirti addio (If I Could Say Goodbye) at the end of March.

Vanina Guarrasi is a series based on the novels by Cristina Cassar Scalia  (Sabbia Nera is the first novel) and the main protagonist is a deputy commissioner Vanina Guarrasi, who after a brilliant career in anti-mafia operations, left Palermo to escape her past and her ties to the two men she loved the most: her police officer father and her ex-boyfriend Paolo Malfitano, a prosecutor active in anti-mafia efforts. The fear of reliving such traumas took over: that's why Vanina will go to Catania, to the Homicide Section, supported by the respect of a new team of police officers. And by the affection of friends. In the cast, Giusy Buscemi, alongside Giorgio Marchesi. The first episode will be broadcast on Wednesday, March 27 at 21:40 on Canale 5. The four-episodes is produced by Palomar. 

Se potessi dirti addio (If I Could Say Goodbye) will debut on Friday, March 29 at 21:40 on Canale 5. 
The series marks the return to fiction of Gabriel Garko who, with Anna Safroncik, is the protagonist of the drama directed by Ricky Tognazzi and Simona Izzo. Marcello has lost his memory and tries to recover it with the help of neuropsychiatrist Elena. The woman, who seeks the responsible for her husband's death, will unexpectedly find the truth from a common past with her patient.
The miniseries is produced by Jeki Production and RTI in 6 episodes and will be aired in 3 evenings.
