Primitives series Cammo secured five deals at Series Mania
The scripted comedy format, Cammo, is broadening its horizons with option deals secured in five territories ahead of Series Mania.
Notably, Banijay Studios France and Studio Hamburg in Germany have acquired the remake rights to the Norwegian scripted series, expanding its reach beyond its home country.

Originally developed for NRK in Norway, Cammo is gearing up to launch its second season on April 11th, with a third season already greenlit by the Norwegian network.

In addition to France and Germany, Cammo has garnered significant international interest, with Satisfaction Iberia in Spain, ITV in the Netherlands, and Heartmade Media in Belgium also securing the remake rights. These deals were facilitated by Belgium formats distributor Primitives, responsible for the international distribution of the series.

Cammo follows the journey of a woman who faces bankruptcy on her quest to become a prominent influencer, ultimately finding herself working as a personal assistant for Kamilla, a young woman with Down syndrome. Initially seemingly mismatched, an unlikely friendship blossoms between them.

Christina Rezk Resar, Head of comedy at NRK entertainment department, expresses her delight and pride in Cammo's success, emphasizing its ability to resonate across borders with its blend of satire and warmth.

Simone de Pruyssenaere, Director Sales & Acquisitions at Primitives distribution, shares her excitement about Cammo's international expansion, highlighting the series' unique qualities that have captivated Norwegian audiences and are poised to charm viewers in new territories.
