CJ ENM has announced an update on the highly anticipated Philippine remake of the hit Korean drama What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, which will air on VIU. Originally aired on CJ ENM’s K-content channel tvN and produced by the premium storyteller group Studio Dragon, in 2018 and receiving widespread acclaim, the series is now set to charm audiences in the Philippines with its local adaptation.

Scheduled to premiere on upcoming March 18th on Viu in partnership with ABS-CBN, the Philippine adaptation, tells the compelling story of a self-absorbed vice-chairman and his indispensable secretary. Produced by the award-winning Dreamscape Entertainment, this version aims to maintain the original's charm while adding a unique local flavor, promising to be a standout addition to Viu's extensive content library.

In a significant casting achievement, Filipino stars Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino will lead as Secretary Kim and Mr. Vice Chairman, respectively. With Kim Chiu, a top star with an Instagram following of 12 million, and Paulo Avelino, known for his engaging performances, the series is poised to be a blockbuster hit.

This project represents another milestone in the successful collaboration between CJ ENM and VIU, following the successes of adaptations like 'Flower Of Evil'.
