Natpe Bahamas cancelled - JP Bommel announced
The National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) has canceled its 2023 NATPE Global Conference and Marketplace, scheduled to be held at the Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, Bahamas from January 17-19, 2023. This was announced today by NATPE President and CEO JP Bommel.

No decisions have been made at this time regarding NATPE Budapest or other 2023 events.

As previously announced on October 3, NATPE filed a court petition to restructure its business affairs with the Bankruptcy Court under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. NATPE, like many other professional organizations, has been adversely impacted by the COVID pandemic, which prevented NATPE from holding historically revenue-generating events, including its 2021 and 2022 Conference and Marketplace traditionally held in Miami. NATPE is looking at all possible options to restructure, including raising funds through strategic alliances.

For nearly 60 years, NATPE has been the leading global professional association for content producers, distributors, developers, streamers and buyers across all distribution platforms.
