Fiacco has more than 20 years of experience in Tv editorial development and multiplatform contents. In 2016 he founded BICFORMATS, an independent creative hub specialized in international formats. With the dating format LIGHT MY FIRE, one of our projects, he won the 1st prize at Formagination – The International Format Pitch 2018 – in Cannes; in 2020 he has been selected by the MIPTV team to be part of the Producers to Watch at MipFormats & MipTV 2020. Previously he worked in RTI-Mediaset, MTV Italy (as Commissioner) and Endemol Shine Italy. As lecturer, he teaches “Television Format Analysis” and “Creation and Development of Transmedial Formats” at Università Cattolica of Milan, at USI – Università della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano and in many other Universities – and he is key consultant for multiple institutions, broadcasters, production companies and law firms. He wrote 4 books on format and television writing; the last one, Unscripted Formats – Teoria e pratica dei programmi televisivi globali (Unscripted formats -Theory and practice of global television programs), has just been published.
