TV8 will broadcast a series of 5 episode of hit format Name That Tune on Tuesday, September 15 at 21.25. The new Italian version with the title Indovina la canzone is hosted by Enrico Papi (Guess my Age) and produced by Banijay.
The format originally broadcast in the US in the early '50 is a game show that put two contestants against each other to test their knowledge of songs.
Premiering in the United States on NBC Radio in 1952 has been adapted all over the world.
In Italy, the show was daily broadcast by Mediaset Italia 1 with the name Sarabanda with Enrico Papi as host.
According to Enrico Papi: "the show will insert many entertainment segments with musical reunion of Italian stars singing their hit (Sabrina Salerno and Jo Squillo) in the variety prime time style".
