TVI in Portugal will produce 30 more episodes of successful telenovelas Quer o Destino, local adaptation of MGE Amanda.
The series is a hit in Portugal: last week it reached number 1 in the ranking of the most successful novellas broadcast in the country, beating competitor series Nazaré.
The series broadcast in Portugal in March 2020 during the covid 19 outbreak received a particularly good result with an average share of 20%.
The series based on the Chilean telenovela, 14 Años no bastaron para olvidar" is about a young woman who gets hired as a nurse by a wealthy family. They do not suspect that the young woman’s nice appearance hides a real obsession for justice: she wants to take revenge on the brothers who destroyed her life when, 14 years earlier, they raped her when she was a teenager. Now she is ready and willing to see justice done, but her main obstacle will end up being her own heart. The series will be soon produced in Greece.
