Leading the unscripted lineup is Forum (Meet Me in Court), the long-running courtroom format now in its 42nd season, with over 11,000 episodes produced. The latest season introduces Jeeves, an AI-powered humanoid assistant. Other highlights include celebrity prank show Scherzi a Parte, with 17 seasons, music talent format Io Canto Generation (6x150’), part of the expanding Io Canto franchise, and celebrity entertainment format Back to School (11x150’), already adapted in Germany.
On the scripted front, Mediaset presents Il Mio Nome è Carlo (100’), the biographical TV movie about Carlo Acutis, the first millennial saint, which delivered an outstanding ratings performance on Canale 5 on Sunday, September 27, attracting over 4.3 million viewers.
Other titles include A Testa Alta (Standing Tall), starring Sabrina Ferilli, whose finale attracted 4.03 million viewers and a 28.2% audience share. The drama slate also features mystery thriller Colpa dei Sensi (Guilt of Senses), starring Gabriel Garko and Anna Safroncik, and the return of family comedy-drama I Cesaroni 7 (12 episodes), the Italian adaptation of Spanish hit Los Serrano.
Additional scripted titles include crime drama I Fratelli Corsaro (The Corsaro Brothers), family saga Storia di una Famiglia per Bene (The Good Family) and light crime series Alex Bravo, starring Marco Bocci.
Mediaset Distribution will also showcase a ready-made film catalogue featuring works by Checco Zalone, Ferzan Özpetek, Paolo Genovese and Dario Argento. Its remake rights portfolio includes acclaimed Italian films such as Mediterraneo by Gabriele Salvatores, Profondo Rosso by Dario Argento and Ovosodo by Paolo Virzì, alongside King of New York by Abel Ferrara.
