RTVE will present two of its upcoming prime-time fiction projects, Rojo sobre Blanco and Rocío, during Iberseries & Platino Industria. The session, titled Iberscreening Próximamente: Las dos nuevas grandes historias de RTVE: Rojo sobre Blanco y Rocío, will take place on Wednesday, September 30 at Sala Azcona (Cineteca). The event will offer a preview of the two new productions, both developed with the aim of connecting with new audiences through distinctive stories and universes. The session will feature José Pastor, RTVE’s Director of Film and Fiction, and will be moderated by Alberto Rey, contributor to El Mundo.

The first part of the presentation will focus on Rojo sobre Blanco, with the participation of actress Irene Arcos, Daniel Écija, creator, showrunner and Fiction Producer at Good Mood, and actress María Hervás. Rojo sobre Blanco is a crime fiction series produced by RTVE and Good Mood Productions. Its first season will consist of eight 60-minute episodes. The series is directed by Jesús Rodrigo, María Pulido and David Molina Encinas, with Daniel Écija leading production, and stars Hugo Silva, María Hervás, Irene Arcos, Pablo Derqui, Manu Baqueiro and Francis Lorenzo. The series follows Daniela, a waitress with a talent for forensic linguistics, who joins Inspector Mario to investigate complex kidnappings and crimes in Madrid. As they work together to analyze the language used by criminals, an intense attraction develops between them, completely destabilizing their lives.

The second presentation will turn to Rocío, with actresses Susana Córdoba and Carmen Raigón, series director Humberto Miró, and Luis Santamaría, Director of Fiction at Boomerang TV, taking part in the session. Rocío is a four-part, 70-minute-per-episode miniseries that tells the story of one of the most important figures in Spanish culture, artist Rocío Jurado, in biopic format. From her childhood in Chipiona to her international success, the series portrays with emotion and respect the rise of a free-spirited woman who transformed her era.
