MichouCorp and Dreamspark Turn Terminal into a Global Format
MichouCorp, the company founded by French creator Michou, and unscripted production studio Dreamspark are joining forces to co-produce the second season of Terminal, turning the creator-led battle royale into a format available for international adaptation. Dreamspark will oversee creative production and international distribution, as the ambitious digital-first property expands beyond its original French market.

The first season, launched in September 2025, transformed an airport into a closed arena where 16 creators and personalities competed in eight pairs over 48 hours, without food or a way out. The contestants had to find resources, eliminate rival pairs and survive until the final countdown, with alliances, betrayals and decisions under pressure driving the action. The series quickly became a major digital production. Its premiere was screened in nearly 500 cinemas across France, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Morocco and Tunisia, attracting 40,000 admissions in a single weekend. Two days later, its YouTube release generated 3.3 million views in 48 hours. The production involved more than 90 cameras and 250 crew members across 48 hours of continuous shooting. Season two, which will shoot in October, will retain the core mechanics of the format while introducing a new setting and gameplay. Michou, who competed in the first season, will become the game master, while the airport arena will be replaced by a purpose-built port area featuring a new map, rules and game mechanics. Line production on season two is handled by Digital Nak.

The format is being positioned for international adaptation in two versions: a creator-led edition, in which local digital personalities drive the show, or a celebrity version designed as a linear event. Each territory can appoint a local game master with strong credibility among younger audiences, while the French set can also serve as a production hub for international editions, allowing individual territories to finance their own episodes without having to replicate the infrastructure. Terminal joins Dreamspark’s catalogue alongside Werewolves for CANAL+, The Power for W9 and Joyn, soon on Disney+, and That's My Chair! for France 2.

“Thanks to Michou and his teams for their trust. They have the instinct, the audience and the appetite for risk: season 1 proved that a creator show could fill cinemas. We bring our expertise in creative production, editing and distribution to make that success repeatable, in France and internationally. Many creator hits are a personality and nothing more. Terminal is a game engine: take the name off the poster and it still runs. This is exactly the kind of partnership Dreamspark was built for,” Moe Bennani, CEO and co-founder of Dreamspark
“Season 1 was a personal bet: more than a year of work, a seven-figure investment and 500 sold-out cinemas for a YouTube programme. We proved our audience deserved that level of ambition. With season 2, we are building a brand that belongs to us and that must live beyond my channel, in other countries and on other screens. I become game master, the map changes, everything gets bigger. I am partnering with Dreamspark because I needed a team that knows how to turn a show into a format and take it around the world, without ever touching what my community loves about Terminal,” Michou, creator and founder of MichouCorp

Michou and Bennani will present Terminal at MIPCOM’s MIP Creative Hub on Monday 12 October, as part of the Creators Connect series. The session, titled “Michou x Dreamspark: Terminal, From YouTube Hit to Global Format”, will feature first footage from season two and explore the development of the project from digital hit to returning international franchise.
