The BYD Music Awards 2026 are set to return to the Arena di Verona for a special edition celebrating 20 years of the event and Italian music.
Hosted by Carlo Conti and Vanessa Incontrada, who will share the stage for the fifteenth time, the two sold-out evenings will air in prime time on Rai1 on Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19.

Launched in 2007, the event has welcomed more than 600 artists and presented over 1,000 awards. The prizes are based on official FIMI/NIQ and SIAE certifications, recognising the strongest-performing albums, singles and live tours in the Italian music market.
This year’s line-up brings together some of Italy’s biggest names, including Achille Lauro, Annalisa, Biagio Antonacci, Elisa, Emma, Geolier, Giorgia, Il Volo, Irama, Marco Mengoni, Max Pezzali, Negramaro, Olly, Pooh, Riccardo Cocciante, The Kolors and Tommaso Paradiso, alongside many other artists.

Awards will be presented to albums achieving Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum status and to Platinum and Multi-Platinum singles released between September 2025 and September 2026. Live productions will also be recognised according to SIAE-certified attendance levels, with Gold, Platinum and Diamond awards for events and tours exceeding 100,000, 200,000 and 300,000 admissions respectively. Special career and honorary awards will also be presented.
