ARTE Distribution has secured a new agreement with Sky UK for the acquisition of a live music collection title Jean-Michel Jarre in Sevilla (90’), further expanding the distributor’s presence in the international concert recording market. The deal with Sky UK, the entertainment and connectivity company operating across the UK, Ireland and Italy, includes multiple sales agreements covering Free TV, Pay TV, SVOD, AVOD and FVOD platforms.
The acquired title captures the visionary electronic music pioneer’s spectacular performance at Seville’s iconic Plaza de España, where immersive sound and cutting-edge visual technology come together in a unique audiovisual experience.
Recorded during Jarre’s 2025 European tour, the concert revisits some of his most celebrated works, and combines electronic music, video creations and a stage design featuring laser architecture and lighting installations developed by Jarre with the support of artificial intelligence tools.
Joséphine Létang, Head of Sales at ARTE Distribution, said: “We are proud to have made this deal on such a visually impactful live performance! This concert recording is very contemporary and innovative. It also brings the AI topic back on the table with a design partly made with the help of AI tools.”
Directed by David Montagne and co-produced by KM Production and ARTE France, Jean-Michel Jarre in Sevilla highlights ARTE Distribution’s continued expansion in the live music segment, a growing area within its international programming catalogue.
The distributor has recently built momentum in the concert recording space with international sales of titles including Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds at Accor Arena, Paris (90’), Air Play Moon Safari at the Royal Albert Hall, London (90’) and Caribou, Paris Zénith (84’). ARTE Distribution has also achieved strong results with its classical music catalogue, including productions such as Concert for Notre-Dame (43’ & 75’) and Mozart’s Requiem at the Château de Versailles (83’).
