One Life Studios (OLS) is expanding its international presence with a series of new licensing agreements across Southeast Asia, bringing a selection of its Indian drama catalogue and 60 microdrama titles to regional platforms. The company is also introducing two new premium historical fantasy drama projects to the global market and seeking co-production partners. The latest agreements, negotiated by Shashank Singh, Lead – Syndication & Content Alliances, and Rohit Krishna, Senior Manager – Syndication & Content Alliances, strengthen OLS’ footprint in one of the fastest-growing entertainment markets for Indian content.
The new licensing deals include a selection of OLS’ most popular historical and mythological dramas. Chandragupta Maurya, licensed to CBS in Cambodia, as well as ANTV and Vidio OTT in Indonesia, follows the inspiring journey of Chandragupta Maurya, who rises from slavery to become one of India’s greatest emperors. Baal Krishna, licensed to JKN Global Media in Thailand, offers a captivating retelling of Lord Krishna’s childhood adventures and miracles in Vrindavan, while Devi, licensed to Channel K in Myanmar and MyTV in Cambodia, explores the story of the Supreme Goddess, the eternal force behind the creation of the universe. Meanwhile, Porus, licensed to JKN Global Media and acquired by Today TV in Vietnam, tells the epic story of the fearless Indian emperor who defends his kingdom against Alexander the Great, the most powerful ruler of the Western world.
In addition to these scripted acquisitions, One Life Studios has licensed 60 titles from its library of more than 500 Indian microdramas to three Southeast Asian digital platforms, including Vibe Entertainment & Interactive Films LLC, highlighting the growing global demand for short-form scripted content.
The company is also preparing two new premium historical fantasy drama series for the international market, with both projects currently seeking co-production partners. The titles, created, written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Siddharth Kumar Tewary, Founder and CEO of One Life Studios, will be presented to potential global collaborators.
“One Life Studios is delighted to continue expanding our 10 year presence across Southeast Asia through these new licensing agreements,” said Siddharth Kumar Tewary. “We're particularly excited to introduce international audiences to our growing catalogue of more than 500 Indian microdramas, one of the fastest-growing content formats worldwide. Alongside these acquisitions, we look forward to presenting two ambitious new historical fantasy series to potential co-production partners.”
The latest announcements build on OLS’ recent international sales, including Dhruv Tara to Today TV in Vietnam and Porus and Chandragupta Maurya to Atinka TV in Ghana.
