Zoo 55, the digital label of ITV Studios, has appointed Diane Glynn as Senior Vice President Social Video, a new strategic role aimed at expanding the monetisation opportunities of ITV Studios’ extensive content catalogue across social platforms. Glynn joins Zoo 55 from Channel 4, where she served as Head of Social and led the broadcaster’s social media strategy and YouTube expansion. In her new role, she will oversee the development and execution of Zoo 55’s social video strategy across platforms including YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat and emerging digital channels, with a particular focus on audience growth and revenue generation.
Reporting to Zoo 55 Managing Director Martin Trickey and working closely with COO Graham Haigh, Glynn will be responsible for maximising the performance of existing channels while creating new digital opportunities around ITV Studios’ more than 100,000 hours of formats, scripted and non-scripted content. She will also support the expansion of ITV’s network YouTube portfolio.
“We are so excited for Diane to be joining Zoo 55. She did an incredible job in her previous roles and her experience and passion will be invaluable as we continue to grow,” said Martin Trickey, Managing Director of Zoo 55.
“I’m delighted to be joining Zoo 55. The opportunity to drive audience growth, brand value and commercial returns from ITV's world-class IP is incredibly exciting, and I look forward to helping shape the next chapter for the business,” said Diane Glynn.
